SPARTY'S CABIN ON THE ROAD
Now that we are finished with Sparty's Cabin, we will be using the tiny house as an educational tool to teach the community and MSU's students about sustainability. Be sure to check back frequently to see if Sparty's Cabin will be coming near you! Also, if you have any suggestions on events to bring the house to, let us know!
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY HOMECOMING 2016
Sparty's Cabin will be in the MSU Homecoming parade! This event will take place on Friday October 14, 2016. The parade will begin at 6pm. Be sure to come out and check out some alumni who made the tiny home possible and also some current USGBC members! Thank you to MSU Surplus and Recycling for making this possible.
Parade Route: The parade begins at the Hannah Community Center and travels south on Abbot Road to Grand River and into campus at the Collingwood entrance, concluding at the corner of Farm and Shaw Lanes.

SPARTICIPATION 2016
USGBC Students MSU used Sparty's Cabin as a fantastic educational tool to promote USGBC Students! Tours were given to discuss sustainability and also try to engage new members to join the club. New and returning Spartans were able to see the hard work of Sparty's Cabin volunteers and understand more about some of SPDC's programs. Thank you to the MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center and Adam Winans!
BE A TOURIST IN YOUR OWN TOWN
Sparty's Cabin had the wonderful opportunity of being apart of the Greater Lansing area's "Be a Tourist in Your Own Town" event. Members of USGBC were able to tour residents of the Greater Lansing area around the tiny house! We received so much positive feedback and support from visitors!
